Non-Surgical Facelift

Facial volume loss overlying fixed ligaments creates signs of facial ageing.

During your consultation, Dr David Ong will identify the cause of tissue descent; volume loss, collagen degradation or primary descent. Dr David Ong can address these changes by restoring lost volume and stimulating new collagen formation through non-surgical, in-clinic treatments using threadlifts, as well as targeted volumisation & contouring treatments.

Fat Transfer to the Face

(Signature Lift)

Fat contains Adipose Derived Stem Cells (ADSC) and Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF), both of which are being applied in the latest aspects of regenerative medicine. Dr David Ong is experienced in offering Fat Transfer for Aesthetic Rejuvenation. The first step is Fat Harvesting (which can be combined with one area of liposuction) where fat is removed from an area, commonly the lower abdomen and flank area.

The next step is Fat Processing, to tailor the fat specific to the intended use (volumisation or skin rejuvenation). The final stage of the Signature Lift is where the processed fat is utilised to address individual concerns.

Blepharoplasty

(‘Eyelid Lift’)

Eyelid surgery, also known as an “eye lift” is a surgical procedure which can be performed under local anaesthetic, to remove or reposition excess skin from the upper lids, to change the appearance or function of the eyelids. The results are permanent, though ageing will continue.

Surgical Facelift

Surgical facelifts are utilised when there is facial skin laxity that cannot be addressed by less invasive therapies alone. The skin retraction response to less invasive treatments is dependent on multiple factors including skin health, genetics and lifestyle factors.

Within surgical facelifts there are different options classified by the incision placement (minimal access cranial suspension MACS, short scar facelift S-LIFT, mini and traditional facelift). Facelifts can also range depending on the treatment of the underlying sub muscular aponeurotic system SMAS (plication, SMAS-ectomy, deep plane). The SMAS which is the important underlying facial supporting structure central to ageing.

Individual patient anatomies play an important role in the surgical facelift decision-making process.
